About the Photographer

Hello, I am Moy Ann S Dillon, a mom of three, Jamaican born, turned Aussie who lives in Queensland.

I fell in love with Polaroid and instant photos so I spend my spare time on walks with my kids and dog and my Instax wide evo and just take snaps of what brings me joy. I own and operate Outback Instant Photos, born from this interest.

I love the Classic polaroid and instant photo look, I am a new generation, 80s baby who discovered the fun and joy it brings. Allow me the honour of printing your memories using genuine film and not just the look a-like version, like others do. I will send your Retro photos back to you packaged with love and care quickly.

You can also opt to choose to have them displayed in a special DIY creation so your keepsake or gift is as thoughtful as possible.

What if you don't have the time to lovingly put a DIY keepsake or gift together yourself or feel confident doing anything crafty. I get that, and I've got you covered. This is what sets us apart from all the other printing services that prints Polaroid or instant photos. We go the extra mile.

Meet my Instant Photo Camera

I love the Instax Wide Evo and Classic Polaroid. I am a collector of all things Polaroid and Instant camera, I just love them like a mad scientist!

I use the 'wide' primarily because I love that I get to see more of my photos as oppose to the tiny prints and it is the best for certain types of photos. I can check my photos that they are looking good before I turn the crank, and viola!

I love hearing the print, and the look and feel of it in my hand, not to mention to see the photo develop right in front of my eyes.

It brings back memories when my dad would show me how a photo would develop in the dark room, back when he ran a small framing and photo business.

Why choose to work with my little business?

If you like the retro, classic polaroid and instant photo look, I've got you covered for your special project, be it to print or provide you with unique display options.

If you live in Australia, and even better in Queensland, I can post your prints to you quickly and for your convenience. I aim to bring photo happiness to the far to reach places.

You will be working with a small, independent instant photography mom, turned part time entrepreneur who cares about your project.

The Film used for the prints?

I use the FujiFilm Instax wide Instant film. I do not print on regular print paper like some others do.

I print as is, from an authentic instant camera or printer made for this purpose with quality film for a genuine retro instant photo product and feel.

Image size: 62 x 99 mm, film size: 86 x 108 mm for that classic white 'frame' look that is typical of this style of retro photo.

We highly recommend the wide, for better quality view of group and family shots, landscape photos and headshots.
